How does EMSELLA® work?
EMSELLA® utilizes electromagnetic energy to deliver thousands of supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions in a single session. These contractions increase the muscle density in the pelvic floor. Thus, providing strength and support to the pelvic floor which is lacking in patients with leaky bladders. EMSELLA® has been clinically proven to increase muscle. Ultrasound images taken before and after treatment show the muscles have gained thickness (green circle).
What can I expect from an EMSELLA® treatment?
EMSELLA® treatments are non-invasive and comfortable. You remain clothed during the entire treatment while seated on the EMSELLA® chair. Treatment lasts about 30 minutes. Most people require six treatments initially. Those treatments are twice weekly. You may notice improvement after a single session. The results will typically continue to improve over the next few weeks.
Do EMSELLA® treatments hurt?
